Links For Librarians

Koha Open Source Integrated Library System Logo

Koha is a shared library catalog that over 50 of CKLS libraries participate in. The libraries that participate in the shared library catalog are called Pathfinder libraries. Koha is used to help keep track of books and items that are requested and checked out over our 17 counties, the entire state, and sometimes outside of the county. Library patrons can access their accounts by using the Pathfinder patron library account login page under the Library Patron Login Sites menu above.

LibraryAware is a marketing tool for library use only. CKLS libraries each have their own account and branding added to LibraryAware so they can create marketing tools like Summer Library Programming flyers, bookmarks, social media posts, email blasts, and more! If librarians have any questions about using LibraryAware, please feel free to contact the CKLS offices.

Rotating Books Calendar

The Rotating Books Calendar is to help Public Librarians keep track of Rotating Books deliveries from CKLS. The Rotating Books collection is made up of over 21,896 items. These items are loaned out to our participating member libraries for their patrons to checkout! By providing this service, CKLS saves our public libraries over $656,880 in local tax dollars. If you have questions about this service, please do not hesitate to contact us!

The Kansas Library Catalog is provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the State Library of Kansas. Librarians use this site (also called SHAREit) to borrow and lend materials to and from other libraries around the State. If a Librarian cannot find something on SHAREit, they can call CKLS and our ILL manager can place a hold for an item using a World Wide Interlibrary Loan System called WorldSHARE.

State Library of Kansas eCard site login for librarians

The Kansas State Library eCard gives library patrons and librarians access to an incredible amount of resources and databases. The link above will take you to the librarian login site so you can create or renew the State Library eCard for your library patrons. After you login to your State Library of Kansas account there is a handy link on the left side of the screen that provides instructions on how to search for patrons, renew accounts, and create new accounts for your library patrons.
