Kathy's GenWeb Search Engine combines US and KS GenWeb sites
Kansas newspapers: search by city, county or date (The Kansas State Historical Society has one of the best collections of local newspapers in the country.)
KSGenWebMap: Click on a Kansas county to retrieve pages with lots of genealogical Web sites for that county.
Family History Library Catalog: Search the catalog of materials (including microfilm, microfiche, and print publications) found at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah. Microfilm and microfiche holdings at this premier genealogical research library may be loaned for use at local Family History Centers and FamilySearch Centers around the world.
Great Bend Public Library is a designated FamilySearch Center. Several other Central Kansas Library System communities also have Family History Centers (Concordia, Hays, Phillipsburg, Salina).
